Was only there for an hour, rush hour as people were finishing work too! Went as a middle man before considering going to A&E, had a kidney infection since the start of my pregnancy, 23 weeks and it had come back a fourth time. Filled in the sheet, did a urine sample, was called within half an hour, explained all to nurse and mentioned I was pregnant, she wasn’t aware and couldn’t treat me, but said doctor started at 5pm, 20 minutes time, I said I was more than happy to wait! She tested my urine and temperature, temp fine but urine showed definite sample. She wanted to make sure doctor had all info so I could be given prescription and gone asap, doctor called me in 10 minutes to 5! Quick over view, went over how far along I am, turns out my infection had shifted from kidneys but still had a serious bladder infection and that was cause for back pain, was given prescription and on my way with advice to do another sample to hand into my actual GP the next morning. Everyone was very friendly, receptionist included! Can’t complain. Glad I didn’t go to A&E, hopefully these work!
"Fab experience."
