"Received the wrong medication."

(as the patient),

Lloyds Chemist. I went to get my prescription. Luckily I checked as they had give me atypical antipsychotics used to treat schizophrenia instead!

Although the chemist apologised and said I would receive a letter of apology, a month later and I have received nothing. I feel there could have been serious repercussions had I not noticed this mistake and I felt as though it was not taken seriously enough.

I am very keen to follow this up with my Pharmacy Colleagues but I am not sure what part of Highland this relates to. I need to know more. I will see if Patient Opinion colleagues can help me.

Thanks for the alert.
