"Dissapointed"

About: Callowland Surgery

I suffer from rosacea, I saw a few doctors at the surgery about it. Every time I go there I'm prescribed antibiotics and I have taken so many of them so I decided to stop.

So I thought I'd go back one last time and discuss with them some alternative treatments perhaps. I saw a doctor who clearly got annoyed that I suggested maybe I do some food intolerance tests, look into my diet or perhaps use different facial creams? I could see from her behaviour and body language that she was annoyed, she talked on top of me, she didn't let me finish my sentences and in the end, she said "you are what you eat". So I thought that's the medical help I came to get, I thanked her politely and left.

Since then I have sought private medical help and I'm better. But just makes me wonder, I rarely go to the doctors and when I do, I really need them. What's the point of paying towards the NHS taxes when I actually pay for private care when I need it?

Just disappointed and sad....
