"respectful staff, dignity in tact, overall good..."

About: Weston General Hospital

What I liked

The staff were really helpful, kind and considerate. The ambulance crew were great and looked after me really well.

Even though they couldnt find me a bed so I was in EAU for a couple of days, the staff couldnt be more helpful. As my bed was right by the nursing station I saw how hard they worked and how frustrating it was when they couldnt find beds for people quick enough. They did their best and made sure that patients had there dignity and priority went to the people who needed them, such as people who were dying and their families were given privacy.

I had no complaints and im sure that if i would have asked for help they would have given it me. I had my partner to help me to the bathroom and help me bathe and take me out for some fresh air!

What could be improved

More staff/beds needed to ease the pressure on the staff in the EAU.

Anything else?

Even though the outcome of my stay in hspital wasnt what I hoped for I was treated well and finally got transferred to a bed but through no fault of the staff nurses.
