"Wonderful staff, great service"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute)

What I liked

I went into premature labour on the M1 and ended up having an emergency section at Northampton General. I was then looked after on Robert Watson Ward while my baby was cared for on Gosset Ward (SCBU). We both ended up staying for over a week before we could be transferred nearer home. I can not praise highly enough the staff who looked after both of us. Everyone was hard working and friendly. They always had time to answer questions even though they were clearly very busy.

That's great to hear Juliet, and I hope you and your little one are both doing well - many thanks for taking the time to pass on your comments. If you feel like sharing any more of your experience for a piece in our hospital magazine (eg I can't help wondering how far you were away from home!) please drop me a line at peter.kennell@ngh.nhs.uk

Thanks again.
