What I liked
this was the third time i had to be admitted to the hospital. along with two visits to Enoscopy and various xrays and a CT scan.
all the staff i came into contact with were superb, friendly but professional. the two that stand out for extra praise were the gentleman who served the food on shand ward. and a support worker. a credit to the hospital. couldnt have been kinder, they even rembered that i had been in before.
was not 100% impressed with all the food, one day i had a ham sandwich and some mashed potato, this was mad from powered potato. not nice, also not made with enough water as a bit powdery. but all said wonderfull hospital to be treated in.
also a nurse on the ward was so calm and friendly it put my fears at ease
What could be improved
information from the Drs to patients could be better, as i found out what i was diagnosed with was in the discharge letter. think it would have been nice if a dr came and explained what this meant. i was put on a low residue diet, i only found out this when a booklet was left on my hospital table. no expalnation.
"very good. clean friendly and professional."
