"Rude colleague at the ROH"

About: Royal Orthopaedic Hospital

(as the patient),

I called the ROH as I was informed at the beginning of June I would have a date for my day case operation within 8 weeks, when I spoke to someone in June I informed them I needed notice and needed someone to call me, they informed me this was written on the form.

I called up after those 8 weeks as not heard anything, I tried my best to explain to the person who answered the phone, but every time you went to talk all they did was interrupt me and stop me and try and finish my sentence and got it wrong every time!

I was then when informed it had been booked while overhearing some talking talking with someone across the office, but the colleague wouldn't give me the date!!!!!!!!!!!

I was then told I was being rude, I said I wasn't been rude but asking why I had not had a call informing me of the date like asked. Again I was told I was rude and a colleague would call be back straight away!

Still no call, really do not put me as a DNA when I have had no date and no one will give it to me, also it seems this colleague needs to go on some sort of customer service course on how to speak to people on the phone as those people skills where by far shocking to say the least. Angry, rude and to a point aggressive from the moment the phone was picked up.
