In the past eight years I have received treatment from 2011 to present 2018. I receive my medication every day and this keeps my mental health and physical health in check. Taking my medicines keeps me in a better frame of mind and helps with my structured programme, which consists of 6 gym sessions, gardening, woodwork, arts and crafts, photography, hearing voices group. I also attend church on a regular basis weekly.

To improve the service I feel longer groups would benefit myself and peers greatly, the possibility of more leaves would be nice in the community.

Dear lynxym75,

Thank you for your posting. It is great to see that you are able to use all of the opportunities available for patients at Arnold Lodge and that this is helping you with improving your mental and physical health.

By longer groups I think you mean group sessions that are, say, two hours long rather than an hour. We do have some sessions that are longer (such as the practical skills groups) but it would be useful to see if other sessions can be longer and whether this would benefit patients.

More leave would be good for patients- I will be consulting with my colleagues to see if this is possible with the resources and staff we have available at Arnold Lodge
