"I am so grateful for the treatment and care I received"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

(as a service user),

I had to go in to ward 210 ARI as I had an infection from a tooth root fragment. At the time I was really sore and felt terrible. Everyone on the ward was wonderful. I work in the NHS and feel so proud that we have such caring professional staff. All treatment was clearly explained and performed with care. The ward was clean, and comfortable. I am so grateful for the treatment and care I received, the nursing staff, student, nurses, radiographers, and Doctors in particular Dr Sharif.

Dear Bailey best,

Thank you for your kind and very complimentary comments about your recent stay in Ward 210. I was pleased to hear you found the staff caring and professional and with you working in the NHS it does make you feel proud to be part of the NHS team. I can only imagine how painful the infected tooth root fragment must have been for you and was delighted that the treatment plan was explained to you and performed with care. I note you mention about the cleanliness and comfort of the ward and we do work hard in trying to maintain these high standards. I hope you are feeling better and I will pass on your compliments to all you mention.

With best wishes for a speedy recovery.

John
