I would like to start by saying that the receptionists are more than helpful and have great empathy and understanding.
Nurses are great ... when you can see one.... often waiting 2 weeks for an appointment - currently in 3rd trimester and first appointment for whooping cough jab was 13 days.
Mostly impressed with doctors... last 2 appointments with same doctor and I pray to God I never need to see them again.... first appointment.... couldn't find baby's heartbeat for 5 minutes and then blamed baby for being active. Last appointment was an emergency as has developed an medical problem that if left untreated can become blood poisoning. Told I would have emergency Ppintmebt with hospital in 2-3 days... on 4th day I rang hospital who informed me appointment would be in another 21days ( 25 in total) explained pregnant - which they didn't know and that I had had this issue before - which they didn't know and they imprpbed appointment time by 8 days.
I think the doctor could have been more truthful with timescales and having read the nhs website I should have been offered an in house treatment first.
