About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Elderly Medicine (wards 2a, 2b, 2c, 3a, 3c, 4c, 5c, 6a, 8a & 8c)

(as a relative),

My father in law was admitted to ward 3 c december 2017 under care of sister Gemma as it who was amazing what a great nurse it.s in her d.n.a and staff nurse hettle was also very caring also have Annie and Jennifer also deserve a mention as nothing was a bother both have such a caring attitude also the patient centred care family involment by sister wait regarding care plan all through his stay in hospital was of a high quality standard  dignity and respect was shown till he was moved to st.margarets hospice

I would also point out that ward looked under staffed at times but the staff rolled up there sleeves and sister weir led from the front and even though under pressure nothing was a issue and my wife and I feel we have to bring this to someone's attention as to the named dedicated staff who work so hard for my family and sadly my father in law passed away not long after being admitted to st.margarets hospice

Thank you for your kind words regarding our staff in Ward 3C in Gartnavel General Hospital (GGH). We have passed your thanks on to Gemma and her team in Ward 3C who, as you say, do a fantastic job!

Please accept my condolences on behalf of the Health Board for the loss of your father in law. For you to take the time to write some feedback about the time your father in law was in GGH is very much appreciated.
