"Excellent Efficient Service"

About: Royal Preston Hospital / Accident and emergency

I arrived with my husband on Sat morning at 7.30 am in agony not being able to walk I had an achilles tendon injury. I was efficiently booked in within 5 mins I had been seen by a triage nurse and then taken round to wait foe the nurse practitioner. I only had to wait 10 minutes and I was seen by the most wonderful guy who was very knowledgeable about my. injury and decided it needed to be plastered. I was taken to the plaster room and they put my cast on they were brilliant and explained everything. I was leaving hospital with information, crutches, cast and an appointment card to explain next steps within 2 and half hours. Thankyou to the urgent care centre and Preston hospital staff.

That sounds very painful!

We're happy to hear all went well and that you had such a great experience.

We will be glad to share this with the Urgent Care Centre team.

best wishes
