About: Peninsula NHS Treatment Centre

What I liked

Visiting the hospital for the first time to see a friend who had just had a hip-replacement operation, I was very impressed with the cleanliness, spaciousness and helpfulness of the staff. There was an aura of peace and quiet, normally not found in most hospitals!

My friend told me that the food was very good - tasty and nicely-presented - and that her care was first-class. All this and free car parking, too!

What could be improved

My only critisicm is that the signage in the hospital needs improvement.

Despite being advised by the helpful person in Reception of where I was to go, I lost my way finding the ward, and when I left I lost my way again. I failed to see prominent notices for "Exit" and "Stairs", which would have been helpful.

Anything else?

If I were to need orthopaedic treatment I would choose this hospital.
