"Difficult having a family member in hospital"

About: University Hospital Lewisham

(as a relative),

The staff I met in my opinion are ignorant and rude. They appear disinterested in their jobs. Filling in paper work and administering medication seems to leave little room for patient welfare. It's like going back in time.

The patience have no way of communicating with friends and family as the patient telephone is broken an the refuse to repair the telephone, so i feel like patience are denied their basic human rights!

This one female member of staff pick up the telephone and left me holding whilst having a conversation with someone else, when I said how rude that was she responded by talking over me then by said she would disconnect the call, as if its not difficult enough having a family member in hospital with a mental illness.
