"No help for ear problrms"

About: Peterborough City Hospital / Accident and emergency

After going to Dr's and walk in centre I went to the A&E department as I was desperate for dome help for my blocked ear. After weeks of trying 3 different types of drops the condition had become worse as I had pushed the wax further down my ear and was now causing me to be unbalanced, in pain and not able to sleep properly.

I cannot believe there was nothing they could do for me. If I had got something stuck in my ear they would have treated me. I was so exhausted and distressed after spending all day trying to get some help I just wanted to stick something in my ear and take the risk of puncturing my ear drum or caused an infection then I would have been back to A&E.

I know it wasn't an emergency but if a dog was in as much dIstress that I was the vet would have done something straight away.

Later on without any help from Dr's I discovered I had bad catarrh that was probably causing pressure from the other side and making it worse. I suppose the Dr's thought I was making a lot of fuss over just wax in my ear. No one thought to find out why it was so bad.
