"Something to focus on"

About: Community mental health services / Recovery College

(as a service user),

I attended courses at The Recovery college the last 2 years. It has helped me be more aware of my mental health issues. I found all the courses informative and the students who talked about their experiences was the most beneficial as I didn't feel like the only one with such thoughts and experiences. It has also given me something to focus on as I'm unemployed and was in recovery. I have made a few friends during this time and it is nice that I can be open about my health issues with them. The teachers were nice and their experiences were very interesting to hear.
