"Listened and ensured her dignity was respected"

About: Renal (Kidney) Medicine & Dialysis

(as a relative),

Nursing staff are under immense pressure and, in my opinion, are not given enough praise. One nurse in particular, nurse Moira of ward 5B, took the time and patience to listen to my mother and ensured her dignity was respected fully, despite the fact she was so busy. Nurses are angels, nurse McFarlane however has special wings! Thank you so much for going that extra mile!

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear Views,

Well we can't ask for more than that, what a lovely accolade to Nurse McFarlane. I have passed your kind words to the team, including Moira and I am sure they were delighted with your post.

Thank you so much for taking time to share this with us. it makes such a difference to staff morale to get such nice feedback.

Best wishes,

Eunice
