Following a colostomy earlier this year I wanted to thank Barbara and Rupinder for their help and support over the lat 4 months. With their infinite care and support I have learnt how to live with the ostomy and regain my life.
Barbara and Rupinder are there at the end of the line ready to listen to any worries or uncertainties I may have, at any time. they come and see me and assess my needs, immediately putting plans and actions into place to make my life easier and show me that it is not the end of the world, there is always a solution. With their help I have appropriate bedding from mattress to sheets, this made me feel better about myself and has led to other improvements in my well being even in gaining some weight.
With their help and encouragement I am not bedridden but have regained mobility and independence and have recently started to drive again, they were able to sort out getting a blue badge for me. This level of support is unbelievably important and necessary when coming to terms with a major life changing operation, when support is needed to rebuild confidence and give back hope.
I am so, so very happy with all their kindness and care.
