"Absolutely awful experience at Hallamshire Hospital"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

I recently went for a colonoscopy, and I have to say I found the whole experience absolutely awful. I felt the staff treated me in a very rough, rude, and uncaring manner. After the procedure itself I was recovering from the sedative and needed gentle after care, which I did not receive at all. I was the last person to be seen, and I felt they wanted me to get away after the procedure as soon as possible so that they could all go home. The staff who treated me seemed to have no respect for patient care.
