I have been reminded to do feedback after receiving a questionnaire concerning my operation.
It was a pleasant surprise not being told to be at the hospital at 7.00 am. I was asked to be there at a time nearer to the operation.
The staff were prepared to deal with the existing leg and urinary problems.
During my stay the standard of care I received was excellent. The staff were insistent about my getting moving quickly after the operation. This was not pleasant but they were on hand to assist. I had diligently done the pre-op exercises which helped.
It is usually the bad things you remember to comment on but I had none.
I was given two follow up appointments as the new knee was clicking but I was left assured that it was nothing to be worried about.
I hope it does not happen but if I need to have the other knee replaced I would choose to have it done here.
