When you are in hospital ,feeling vulnerable and nervous,the first thing you expect is to treated with respect .This one element of care was so overwhelmingly missing it permeated through all levels of contact given from the surgeons down. My aftercare had to be dealt with by my G.P and local hospital because my surgeon was on leave.Their care was amazing leaving me with feeling I shpold have saved a lot of money and been treated by the NHS.

I am so sorry to hear that your experience was not in keeping with the majority of our patients, I would very much like to discuss this with you please.

We have received a number of messages today from NHS Choices that appear to have been delayed in alerting us, so apologies that this reply is somewhat now after the event.

Never the less, we can always learn and strive to do better so a conversation would still be very much in keeping if you feel minded to.
