although I was not attending for a very pleasant procedure I had a.very positive experience overall.

From the initial referral to waiting for admission - checking in until checking out I found the whole episode of care to be excellent .

All the staff I met were professional , supportive and extremely compassionate . I felt that I was treated as an individual and that the standard of care was 5 star. I was made to feel comfortable and that nothing was too much trouble.

I could not have got through this day without the care and support of all the staff that helped me , the nurse who admitted me , the consultant and the calm and caring theatre staff and Then the fantastic recovery room staff.

I was very worried about attending and for undergoing the procedure but I was out at ease and was made to feel that I really mattered .

Thank you everyone for helping me get through this experience .

I would definitely recommend but think I may choose some anaesthetic if there was eve a next time .
