My son has been under Camhs for years now, we have had to access the crisis Home intervention team. At first was great and then they turned the tables and raised a safeguarding against us his parents. This was totally unfounded by social services and they could not understand why they did this. In the report given to safeguarding they stated my son has autism but not enough to diagnose. My son during this time has self harmed and is on medication. All he needs is to know why he feels like he does, as a family we have been through hell, the gp wrote a letter requesting a further assessment by another team, we had this beginning of April and heard nothing. Now it’s the school holidays my son is struggling already and it’s the first week. There is no support and feel totally let down as I have complained in the past and involved cqc as they were not supporting my son at all.
You hear in the news about how bad mental health services are and I agree, but what upsets me the most is seeing what my son goes through and concerned about the lack of professional support.
Feel like you complain and they turn the tables on you
