I was admitted by ambulance to A&E at Maidstone Hospital early last Friday morning suffering with acute kidney stones. Ambulance and A&E staff were extremely professional, caring and courteous. I was sent for an ultrasound and saw the Urologist soon after. Kidney stones were identified and I remained in hospital overnight for pain control then had surgery to remove the offending stones on Sunday morning. I honestly do not think I could have had better care and treatment had I been a private patient. It made me realise just how precious the NHS is in this country and how we need for it to remain firmly within the public sector.
We need to raise the flag for the NHS at every opportunity!
My sincere thanks to everyone involved.
