I was admitted on 21st July for a cataract removal.
From the moment I was greeted by a very professional administrator to the time I left having had my surgery I have nothing but praise for all the staff who looked after me.
I suppose it was the attention to detail that impressed me most. The procedures were all very clearly explained and at every step of the way I knew what was happening.
The staff take great care of their patience and nothing appeared to be too much trouble one particular healthcare assistant was absolutely fantastic and I was made to feel that I was the only person being treated that day. I’d love to be able to name her but as names should be used on this site I hesitate to do so but I would love somebody to get in touch with me so that I can tell them what I thought of this wonderful girl who really was simply outstanding.
As I said earlier they were so thorough and the nurse came and spent quite a long time with me explaining the discharge procedure and what I should do for the next few days.needless to say this is only day one of my recovery and up to now having removed the shield from my eye colour so so bright and fluorescent so I am thankful for the surgeon and his team and a wonderful anaesthetist for carrying out this treatment so beautifully
Thank you very much to everybody at goring Hall who made my thought would be such a traumatic episode so easy.
"AMAZING TREATMENT AND SERVICE IN THE DAY CASE..."
