I was asked to come into hospital earlier than originally requested so I though my operation would be brought forward, this was not the case, my opp went well but the recovery not so good, even though I had an anti sickness tablet before surgery, I was really quite ill afterwards, I was surprised at how quickly I was made to eat and drink, even though I had no appetite then again an hour later asked to eat biscuits and drink tea so I could be sent home, this made me really quite ill, they gave me an injection which did stop the sickness, even though I did not feel good I was asked to leave as the day ward was closing, I was not given any after car advice about changing dressings when to leave the dressings off, not told much at all, going by what I experienced I would of preferred to of gone NHS at least as bad as I felt I might of had a choice of an overnight stay
