I am furious at how my doctor didn’t suggest anything to help my condition. We waited for 3 and a half hours overall, and although the nurse told urgent care to take a urine and blood test, only the urine test was taken and I was told that there was no need for a blood test despite still having symptoms of fever, nausea, vertigo, loss of balance, persisting headache, loss of appetite, for the past TWO WEEKS non-stop. The doctor even asked if I had an ear infection, to which I replied that I didn’t know, and he didn’t even proceed to check my ears! He barely checked my body at all. How do doctors in London get trained as this is certainly a common theme I have noticed all my life here.
The doctor that I saw at A&E last week at Barnet Hospital was more patronising and offered little to no help. I am so thoroughly dissatisifed with the state of the NHS in London.
I don’t know what to do except go AGAIN to see a GP who will probably just repeat the same issues. I won’t be coming back here for anything anymore.
