About: Gartnavel General Hospital / Ophthalmology (eye problems) (Ward 1c)

(as a service user),

Contacted eye clinic at Gartnavel Hospital as my husband had previously been treated last year for ocular melanoma. In last 24 hours had noticed very cloudy vision and pain in left eye. 

Support and advice from the staff was excellent! 

He was seen and treated within 3 hours and thankfully nothing serious. 

So grateful for such an amazing team at Gartnavel Opthalmology oncology Clinic.

Thank you for posting your feedback on Care Opinion.

It must have been a worrying situation for your husband and yourself and I am glad that he was seen quickly and that his condition was not serious.

I will ensure that your comments are shared with everyone who was involved in his care at the Opthalmology Oncology Clinic at Gartnaval General Hospital. Staff will be delighted to hear that they were able to support and reassure your husband.
