"Gall bladder surgery"

About: Northern General Hospital / General surgery

(as the patient),

First time having a general anaesthetic and filled with trepidation of key hole surgery. However, the whole care team were amazing. The surgeon explained everything. The Anaesthetist was very assured, kind and in control, putting me at ease. The Nursing team were excellent. An overall positive experience. Thank you to the NHS. The only drawback was the delays with discharge owing to medications not being available.

Thank you for leaving feedback. We are sorry that you needed surgery, which we know can feel very worrying, but it will mean a great deal to the team to know they were able to help you feel more reassured and at ease. We are sorry you encountered medication delays and this will also be feedback to the relevant team.

With thanks and best wishes for your continued recovery
