"13 Month period of 2 referrals, in pain, turned..."

About: The Eastman Dental Hospital

I have visited this hospital twice over a 13 month period, I am in constant pain both with my teeth & jaw, I have received antibiotics 3 times from my local dentist. I have been turned away from Eastman’s twice now for treatment. My local dentist is unable to carry out the treatment, as specialist prosodontic experience is required. My most recent visit with the dentist, she advised me the only way I can receive treatment is by seeking private specialist prosodontic treatment at a cost of over £3000. I am a widowed pensioner of 72 years old I have no means of covering this cost. I have worked & paid into the NHS all my life & I am in desperate need of treatment in order elevate my pain, surely this is what the NHS was set to do, to help the most needy? I am wholly disappointed that Eastman’s Dental Hospital has failed to assist me on any level!
