Utterly astonished how the front desk treated or mistreated you. Today I came to the medical centre to pick up my wife's prescription. Something went wrong with the booking system at the nearby llyod pharmacy so I went to the front desk of the medical centre where she was registered as a patient to try to get a confirmation on whether the booking was made or not. The front desk woman went off to pick a private phone call when we were in the conversation and came back more than eight minutes later. She printed a sheet saying that it is my wife's fault for not ordering the prescription successfully, in a very loud voice while mentioning the prescription in an even louder voice in the waiting area full of people, completely ignoring a patient's privacy. I swear I was speaking in a calm and asking-for-help type of tone the whole time, she, out of nowhere, started to criticise our fault in an ultra-loud voice while holding the booking confirmation. Lady, I can understand your English perfectly, is it your personal phone call affecting your professional way of treating your customers/patient, or did you always treat people this way? I only had two encounters like this in all of my experience with the EHS, and they both took place in this facility. The front desk receptionists clearly need training in customer relations or teaching in basic manners.
"Extremely rude receptionist taking private call..."
