About: University Hospital (Coventry) / Neurology

My daughter was in critical care , which was excellent, but then moved to a ward on the 4th floor where the care was abysmal , trying to find someone who actually worked on the ward was frustrating , my daughter ,who was upset at the situation she was in and found difficult to cope with , didn't get all the treatment she needed , some staff need to question themselves if they are in the right job, she was s patient in your hospital but treated as a nuisance , there was no understanding of how she felt, we remain upset and angry , thankfully she is now in a place that treats her with expert care and understanding .

Thank you for sharing your feedback on NHS Choices about your daughter's care in the Critical Care and Neurology units at University Hospital.

While you have praised the Critical Care team, I was very disappointed to hear about her experience in Neurosciences, and would like to apologise, as this is not the standard of care that we aim to provide.

I would urge you or your daughter to speak to our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team on feedback@uhcw.nhs.uk or on 0800 028 4203 so they can look into her concerns in more detail and help us improve care for other patients.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback.

We appreciate all comments both positive and negative, as it helps us to better understand our patients’ needs and to continually improve.
