"Lack of compassion"

Came for a blood test. As others have said, the organisation is strange and there is little dignity/privacy.

Groups are called up and sent to a small room with chairs very close together for blood tests.

I have a phobia of needles due to a bad experience as a child, and explained this to the nurse beforehand as this has always put both me and the nurse at ease. However, the nurse proceeded to shout at me.

As someone who has passed out during blood tests in the past, I handled the situation well. I did not cry or hold up the process - I just informed her I was terrified. This apparently justified being shouted at in front of other patients in the room.

Actual blood test was very well done, and wait time short, so if you're fine with needles you're probably fine - just patient care leave a lot to be desired!
