"Reception staff are rude and let down the surgery"

I have been with this practice for nearly 5 years after moving house and having to leave the competent and kind staff at the doctors surgery I was previously at. I would not recommend this surgery, while the few regular doctors at the Spring House are great and extremely helpful, unfortunately they are completely let down by the receptionists consistently being rude and down right miserable, they are so impolite and make you feel like a huge inconvenience when ringing them or checking in for appointment, so much so that I actually put off ringing for an appointment when I need to because I don’t want to have to deal with them. When you do ring it’s impossible to get an appointment for weeks anyway. They clearly need to have training in customer service and remember to smile and be friendly once in a while! There is a young girl that is on reception now and again and she is lovely, always smiling and friendly, if only the rest of the receptionists were like this!
