"Sad to see staff accommodating abusive patients"

About: The Whittington Hospital / Accident and emergency

I can’t complain about staff, however I was very sad to witness staff giving into abusive patients and putting their needs ahead of actual emergency patients.

I was never actually seen by anyone other than nurse. I was in for suspected clot on leg and had to wait consecutively 9.5 hrs for blood tests. I never got blood tests. First night I waited 5 hrs after nurse assessment. The ER room was full of people who were disturbing patients and abusive to staff.

A girl with a small rash on her leg marched into nurses station and demanded to be seen. They actually immediately referred her to doctor.

There were much needier cases in Emergency.

2nd day I waited for 4 hrs just to see nurse and gave u. Same issue occurred guy walks in abusing staff and gets seen while a girl had blood dripping out her arm. It was quite incredible within 5 mins he was in and with doctors. While whole room who waited for 3 plus hour sat. For avoidance of doubt I videos interaction. I decided to leave after 3.5 hours of not seen even by a nurse. I will go to Royal London much faster ER and they don’t tolerate abusive patients.
