Last Wed 11/7/18 I felt a weird sensation in my left breast/heart - mini vibrations (I have a genetic heart condition and my consultant had upped my medication). I called the surgery at about 1245pm . Dr called me back within 10 minutes. He said he would see me and arranged for me to have an ECG. He passed me back to reception to organise this. I was told I would be squeezed in at 1340pm. One of the nurses happened to overhear the receptionist talking to me and said she was available to do the ECG. I was in the surgery by 1310pm. The lovely nurse did the ECG and Dr saw me 20 minutes later. I told him I'd fallen against the bottom bannister on Sunday evening and had bruised my left breast. My ECG was excellent and he confirmed I had a bruise which could be causing the weird sensation as there are so many nerve endings in that area. He was extremely thorough and totally reassured me as far as my heart was concerned. I was highly impressed that all of that took place so quickly and professionally. I was back home just after 2pm. We are EXTREMELY lucky to be registered with Swan Surgery. They are fantastic.
