(as the patient),

I recently gave birth to my beautiful little boy at the royal Oldham hospital and I just want to shout out to my midwife Georgia! she made my experience so calm and relaxing and nothing was to much for her. She was such a kind hearted lady and was so on the ball with everything meaning that when I took a turn after birth she took care of me so quickly. I cannot thank her enough and never got chance to go and see her afterwards as I was taken to a different ward! I do hope she sees this as she truly is one of the best nhs staff I have come across in a long time and I’m so thankful for the time and energy she put into my labour even when she must of been so tired from a long night shift with me !

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of your labour and care. It is lovely to hear that you have had such a positive experience of our service and in particular the care that you received from Georgia. Midwives get a lot of pleasure and job satisfaction from caring for women during labour so do not worry about Georgia being too tired as I'm sure she didn't mind. She will be thrilled to hear your message of thanks so I will personally ensure that she receives them.
