About: Furness General Hospital / Accident and emergency

My grandma was taken to A&e Monday night with chest pain, from entering reception it was recognised straight away she was unwell. Despite the department being very busy she was swiftly taken into triage then the main department where she was diagnosed with having a heart attack. Within 2 hours of entering fgh she was diagnosed, treated and transferred by NWAS to Blackpool. Excellent care from an amazing team who work very hard under immense pressure!
