"As far as I am concerned, Wexham Park has..."

About: Wexham Park Hospital

What I liked

I have been visiting Wexham Park Hospital for the treatment of prostate cancer from June 2011 until now (November 2011, and ongoing), so speak having made probably at least 10 visits in that time (for consultation, diagnosis and treatment).

Overall I have been very happy with the care I have received, and with the organisational aspects of my time at the hospital. I have been teated with utmost courtesy and respect by staff at all levels - from secretarial to the surgeon who performed my radical prostatectomy.

I never felt I was being rushed during any face-to-face contact, and it's nice to get the text reminder of your next appointment, too.

What could be improved

I know there is no simple answer, but it is a bit frustrating when invariably you have a long wait on the days of your of your consultations (in my experience, nearly always at least an hour after the time of the appointment). However, contrarily, these delays are - as far as I can determine - primarily as a result of being given as much time as you need during consultation (which is key), so no real complaints from me!
