First the negative... I have recently been seriously injury at work, so have been in to the practice on a number of occasions. At first I had a negative feeling about the Doctor, refusing to give me a sick note, even after giving them the MRI/X-Ray and hospital medical reports relating to my injury's. Apparently the refusal was because it was the first time the Doctor had seen me. (he is fairly new to the practice) I'm glad to say this was all sorted in the end and the sick note was given at a later date. The other negative aspect is the telephone system. Like many other practices it is very difficult, sometimes impossible to get through the the practice to book appointments The positive... During my multiple visits, the receptionists and the practice manager were extremely polite and professional, often going a long way out of their way to assist me with my ongoing situation.

Thank for you feedback, we are grateful for both negative and positive comments and these are discussed during our Practice Meetings.

I acknowledge your frustrations with the telephones, we have identified a problem with our telephone system and currently working with our telephone provider to rectify this as a matter of urgency.

Our mission at Oldham Family Practice is to provide our patients with the highest standard of health care possible and I am happy to learn that your outcome with the Gp was a positive one.

I am pleased that you are happy with the service you receive from the reception and management staff.
