"Excellence is the norm"

 I recently attended the 1st. floor ECG outpatients clinic.

I was received and welcomed with warmth and had only to wait briefly before being politely called from the waiting area to go into the side room.

The care, kindness and courtesy I received from the young female cardiologist who conducted the ECG clearly demonstrates that excellence is the norm in that department - and that delivering an exceptional level of service is an everyday expectation.

I wish to openly acknowledge and thank both the individual who cared for me so professionally - and the team to which she belongs - as quite clearly they are upholding standards and service levels the Victoria Hospital, Fife and NHS (Scotland) can and must be singularly proud to have achieved.
