"Full knee replacement"

Went into Woodlands hospital May 22nd for a full knee replacement. I was nervous at first but the staff there are amazing and so professional and they put me at ease right from the outset. My room was lovely with my own en suite and so perfectly clean.... more like a four star hotel. I cannot say that having an operation is a pleasant experience but all of the staff helped in any and every way to make it as easy as possible.

The physiotherapists were also brilliant and took time with each patient to get them to o a level where they felt able to cope at home. My house has 26 steps up to the bedroom and 26 back down again and I live on my own so I needed to feel confident of being able to manage the stairs.

I am nearly eight weeks post knee replacement and I am managing fine. Obviously not back to normal yet but well on the way.

THANKYOU to the whole of the great team for all you did for me.
