About: Royal Hospital for Sick Children (Yorkhill) / Ophthalmology

(as a parent/guardian),

Attended day surgery with 4yr old son for him to get cataract surgery. All the staff were lovely, very patient and caring. Good play area helped to distract our wee one from how hungry he was!

I am sorry to hear that your young son had to undergo surgery, this must have been a stressful time for all of you.

It is great to hear that the excellent care you received from the team and the facilities in place to provide play and distraction for your son ensured the experience was positive and any distress to your son was minimised.
