Firstly i visited my Gp with a cough and she sent me for a chest xray and my GPcalled me at home with the results a shadow on the lung, secondly she put me on a two week wait because looks sinister.
Next day gets a call from the hospital and they book me for a CT and they called me a few times to book a appointment at the hospital, well thankfully it was not what was first imagined as you can guess but even so after i saw my consultant the first time and put me at ease, I then had another
CT to review today and all is good
I would like to thank the Profesor and all the staff involved right from the start of my 2ww journey, right down to hospital admin staff calling me and sending letters to CT Scanner staff to phlebotomy who took my bloods.
Really hope I have not missed anyone out because you are all truly caring and I cannot thank the NHS enough for not giving me to much time to worry, i actually felt like a private patient.
So thank you all so much.
Proud to be in the NHS.
