"Fracture Clinc"

About: Basildon University Hospital

I attended the fracture clinic 2 weeks after my partner ruptured his achilles which i believe to be a very long time when he is in such pain and was provided no painkillers.

When we attended the actual doctors themselves was fine but the reception is so unorganised and i find very rude!

I was told i need to come back in a weeks time Thursday 19th July but they could not provide me with a time as the doctors rota was not on the system. They said they would call us and let us know.

We are still waiting for the call and i have tried calling the fracture clinic on extension 2727 3 times today during my working day and each time i have been on hold for over 1 hour! I am currently still on hold and have been for an hour and ten minutes!

I find this disgusting and i also think we should have been told a time in advance as we need to make child arrangements i will need to take time out of work to take him.

Very bad service !
