"Severe pain, treated with excellent care"

Recently had severe upper gastric pain that was getting increasingly worse. Attended a&e in a state, 6am in the morning kids in tow along with husband. Triage nurse took me through and after taking 1 look at me wheeled me to majors. IV morphine and paracetamol worked a treat, they could then investigate. Took me up to ward, ward 5b gave my kids toast. Lovely staff throughout. People are too quick to complain about A&E but in a genuine emergency they are amazing.
