"Outstanding at all times"

What I liked

I found that all members of staff from the surgeon, who operated to give me a partial knee replacement, to the cleaning staff responded in the best possible way to my needs at all times. I have the greatest respect for them all. Should I need treatment at any time in the future I would not hesitate in returning to the James Paget. In fact it is my hospital of choice.

Anything else?

In Nov 2011 my mother in law was rushed in with a hypo and again was treated superbly. At all times she was shown respect and treated with dignity in what was to her and my wife a stressfull time.

Various members of the family have been treated in A&E for work related injuries over the last few years. At all times the treatment and follow up care, where needed was superb.

I have been an outpatient for hearing and bladder problems. Again I could not find any kind of fault. Indeed I can only offer praise of the highest kind.

The staff even found time to offer words of reassurranc to my two youngest children when we had to accompany my mother in law on a busy Saturday night, see above.
