About: Royal Blackburn Hospital / Accident and emergency

I'm 84 and attended A&E, early last Saturday afternoon, July 14th, following a heavy fall earlier in the week.

I cannot speak too highly of all the staff who dealt with me, the receptionists, the initial assessment nurse, the young doctor (who'd been on duty since midnight!), the radiologist: each and every one of whom were pleasant and professional, in spite of the very obvious pressures they were under.

What an exemplary team!
