"Excellent ED care"

About: Northwick Park Hospital / Accident and emergency

Accompanying my elderly neighbour to the emergency department this morning. She was treated with dignity and compassion whist receiving excellent care. The staff were all very sensitive to her needs and treated her with respect whilst ensuring that she had appropriate investigations as quickly as possible. She was transferred to the ward within 4 hours, excellent treatment and service. Thank you especially to advanced practitioner and the nurse, plus all the other members of the team who were involved in her care.

Thank you for letting us know about you and your neighbour's experience when having to attend the Emergency Department recently.

Whilst of course very sorry to hear that your neighbour required a hospital admission, I was very pleased to learn that she was treated so well by the team in the Emergency Department and was admitted to a ward in good time.

I will ensure that your kind words are shared with team who I am sure will appreciate you taking the time to provide your positive feedback
