What I liked

This is exactly how all hospitals should be, I was treated like an intelligent individual at all times, with dignity and great care. I had been very nervous but was immediately but at ease, All staff, the nurse, theatre staff, surgeon were very friendly and did everything to put me at ease. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I believe there are plans to rebuild Tewkesbury Hospital. Please don't lose what it has, in terms of facilities or ethos, as it is now should be a blueprint for NHS care throughout the service. I had my day surgery the same day that the negative report about care were released (I know this related specifically to care of the elderly but I suspect some of these problems exist for all age groups), my experience was so different as to be like a different service, but mine should be the norm!
